$99 a month, per clinic. $149 after early access.
The founder rate is $99 a month for the first ten early-access clinics, and it stays $99 for as long as your subscription stays active. The list price for clinics joining after that is $149 a month, or $1,490 a year. Never a seat per veterinarian, never a fee per estimate, never a free plan, never a contract. We take nothing on the deposit, Stripe's fees apply. Below: what it replaces, what the rest of the market charges, and the arithmetic on deposits.
One plan. Per clinic, not per vet.
One seat of Provet Cloud is $99, on top of a $249-299 platform fee, and online booking alone starts around $200 a month in the United States. VetApprove is $99 for the whole clinic, and it is the piece that collects money.
- No setup fee
- No contract
- No per-user pricing
- No practice software migration

The paper estimate, the follow-up call and the card in the drawer.
Most clinics already run this flow. It is just spread across a printer, a phone, a sticky note and someone's memory. Here is the same job, side by side.
| The job | Paper + phone call + card on file | VetApprove |
|---|---|---|
| Presenting the plan | A printed estimate handed over at the counter, or read out at the end of a consult while the dog pulls on the lead. | A link the owner reads at home, calmly, with every line priced and labelled included, recommended or optional. |
| Getting a yes | A call the next day. Then another. Then voicemail. The answer is often "let me think about it", which means no. | A checkbox and a signature on their phone, usually the same evening. The yes is recorded, dated and itemised. |
| Holding the slot | A card number written on a paper form and kept in a drawer, or nothing at all. | A deposit charged at signature through Stripe, straight into the clinic's own account. No card number is ever written down. |
| Chasing | The front desk, between two calls, from memory, when there is a gap. There is rarely a gap. | Automatic email reminders on day 1 and day 3, a balance reminder the day before the procedure, then the estimate expires on the date you set. The dashboard shows who is still open. |
| Proof if it is disputed | A photocopy with an illegible signature, if it was signed at all, and nobody remembers which version was agreed. | A sealed record: timestamp, IP, device, the hash of the accepted content, every link open, and the exact lines that were ticked. The PDF is rendered from that record. |
| Getting it into the record | Retyped by hand into the practice software, or not at all. | PDF and CSV export, dropped into the patient record in about 30 seconds. No integration, no API key. |
| What it costs | Printing, storage of card details you should not be storing, and the procedures that were recommended and never scheduled. | $99 a month per clinic. We take nothing on the deposit, Stripe's fees apply, as they do on your counter payments today. |
Keeping a card number on a paper form is a card-data problem long before it is our problem. With Stripe's hosted fields, no card number, expiry or CVC reaches the clinic or VetApprove.
What the rest of the market charges.
For context, not for scorn: three of these are complete practice-management systems and one is a booking tool. VetApprove is neither, and does not replace any of them. It is here so you can see where $99 for the whole clinic sits.
PetDesk Direct Booking
from about $200 / month
Vetstoria, sold in the United States as PetDesk Direct Booking. Online booking only: no estimate, no signature, no deposit on a plan. Aggregator figure, not verified on the vendor site. It is the proof that a single well-made brick sells at this level.
ezyVet
from $260.50 / month
Full practice-management system, six-month commitment, implementation quoted separately. Its client app, Connect, is rated 2.0 out of 5 on the App Store.
Provet Cloud
$99-129 per vet + platform fee
Full practice-management system priced per veterinarian, on top of a $249-299 monthly platform fee with one veterinarian included. Signature and deposit exist, scattered across consent forms and booking.
Digitail
price on request
Full practice-management system. No published rate: the plans are shown after a demo. It signs the treatment plan remotely and records the declined lines.
Shepherd
from $299 / month
Full practice-management system: $299 for one veterinarian plus $99 per additional veterinarian, according to aggregators. Not verified on the vendor site.
VetApprove
$99 founder, $149 list
The estimate link, the options, the signature, the deposit, the reminders and the proof, for the whole clinic. $99 a month for the first ten early-access clinics and for as long as they stay; $149 a month, or $1,490 a year, after that. One shared clinic login during early access, team invitations coming. Not a practice-management system, and no ambition to become one.

One procedure that gets scheduled instead of forgotten.
A deposit does two things: it filters out the plans that were never going to happen, and it makes the ones that are happening actually show up. Put your own prices in the first column. These are illustrative, not our data.
Illustrative figures. The last column is simply the procedure value divided by $99. The point being that a single recovered appointment covers the subscription for most of a year. Deposits are collected by your clinic, in your Stripe account, under your own refund terms.
| Procedure | Typical value | Deposit at 30% | Months of VetApprove covered by one no-show avoided |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dental with extractions | $780 | $234 | 7.9 |
| Spay | $420 | $126 | 4.2 |
| TPLO | $4,200 | $1,260 | 42 |
| Emergency imaging | $900 | $270 | 9.1 |
Questions about the bill.
How does billing work?
Monthly, by card, invoice emailed automatically. During early access you prepay the first month; if your account is not delivered within 30 days you get that month back, no argument and no form to fill in.
What happens to my price after early access?
Nothing. The founder rate is $99 a month for the first ten clinics and it stays $99 for as long as your subscription stays active, with no end date and no anniversary increase. The $149 a month, or $1,490 a year, is the list price for clinics that join after early access closes.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. There is no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Email hello@vetapprove.com and we cancel the same day; your account stays open until the end of the month you have paid for, and you can export every signed PDF and your full estimate history before it closes. The month already started is not refunded, apart from the 30-day early-access guarantee.
What are the payment processing fees?
We take nothing on the deposit, Stripe's fees apply, at whatever rate your Stripe account is on and charged by Stripe directly to your clinic. VetApprove adds nothing on top and never sees, holds or routes the money.
Is VAT included?
Early access is for clinics in the United States, billed $99 in US dollars with no sales tax added by us. It is invite-only and capped at 10 clinics. Clinics elsewhere can leave their email; we open other countries once the first cohort is running.
Which currency am I billed in?
US dollars, and only US dollars during early access. Deposits are a separate matter: they are charged in your own Stripe account and settle on your own Stripe payout schedule.
Is it really per clinic and not per veterinarian?
Per clinic, and there is no per-item fee on estimates or signatures. During early access the clinic has one shared login (a magic link by email, no password) that the whole team uses; team invitations are on the list, and until they ship you can ask us to add a colleague. A group with several physical sites takes one subscription per site, because each site has its own Stripe account, its own templates and its own deposit policy.
How do I reach you, and how fast do you answer?
By email, at hello@vetapprove.com. A founder answers within one business day, Monday to Friday. There is no phone line yet, and we would rather say so than publish a number nobody picks up.
How is the estimate delivered to the pet owner?
By email today. Text messages are on the roadmap and are not part of what you are paying for; nothing on this site should be read as a promise that we send them yet.
Ten clinics. Then we close the door for a while.
We are onboarding the first cohort by hand, one clinic at a time, to get the templates right for your species and procedures. Tell us where you are and we'll send the payment link and a 15-minute slot.
